So cool to watch you make it this far - best of luck as you continue this pregnancy as long as you're able to, but you've come so far, you are already triumphant mama. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5547479290499038449.post-8185817884977276472011-10-27T23:54:47.003-05:002011-10-27T23:54:47.003-05:00Thanks guys.

I don't ever want anyone to feel like I'm dismissing any prematurity or any NICU stay.
David and I keep saying "okay ___ weeks would suck.. but we survived 14 before.."

Of course, you know it's kinda like comparing a knife to a bullet wound. Neither are pleasant, and depending on what happens afterward, either one could be better or worse.

I figure at 34 there's a chance the baby could come home with us. Not guaranteed, but maybe, particularly with having to be in there longer because of the c-section.

The girls at the peri center were joking about me having to figure out what to do with a new baby at home- I never had to deal with an umbilical cord or anything when Robbie was born.

Oh.. and Anonymous, no registry. I hadn't even considered one, honestly. So far the only things I've really bought are diapers and a few girl clothes in case we get a Charlotte.Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04150585209390355119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5547479290499038449.post-34515651758748468012011-10-27T21:16:51.122-05:002011-10-27T21:16:51.122-05:00Awesome!!!! I'm so happy for you!! And, I'...Awesome!!!! I'm so happy for you!! And, I'm so glad that the Peri said no to the amnio. (I just read your reply to my comment on the previous post - makes sense now - thanks for the explanation.)

So, I was one of those 33 weeker moms in the NICU. At the time, I was scared to death. And my experience there didn't even hold a candle to yours. But, to calm your nerves a bit (I hope) I'll tell you that my girls were born at 33 weeks 1 day, and they didn't need any oxygen at all. none. Their main issue was learning how to suck in order to bottle feed Baby A (4lbs 8) was there for 12 days and Baby B (3lbs 5) was there for 17 days. Not too shabby, right? You'd never guess they were preemies now. It's crazy how big of a difference a few weeks can make. The fact that you are at 33 weeks is HUGE.

So happy for you. Still praying for you and Chello.Adrianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01522765399716764611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5547479290499038449.post-7608165143530537982011-10-27T13:41:10.954-05:002011-10-27T13:41:10.954-05:0033 weeks is amazing!33 weeks is amazing!Stephanie Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10212212522660019688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5547479290499038449.post-12178286298525477622011-10-27T12:31:27.849-05:002011-10-27T12:31:27.849-05:00inquiring minds want to know: where are you regist...inquiring minds want to know: where are you registered??? :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5547479290499038449.post-57611886405351224782011-10-27T11:43:33.208-05:002011-10-27T11:43:33.208-05:00Congratulations!!!
