desperate

won't eat won't won't eat won't eat.

He's crying.
I'm crying.

I've left messages for our OT and our pediatrician.

Why is this happening now? He's always been such a good eater. Maybe not the biggest appetite when his reflux acts up, but he's always wanted to eat.

Now a nipple touches his mouth and he screams.
And then he screams when you take it away because he's starving.

The only thing that soothes him is to be patted. I'm well on my way to carpal tunnel.

Even now, I type a few words- I pat. I type again. I pat.

Please pray he eats.

I will be praying for you and your little guy. Have you checked for swollen gums? My little one does this right before a tooth breaks out. Hope he eats soon.

I've been following your blog for months now, since finding it on the nestbaby/bump. I'm not one who prays very often, but you two are always in my prayers when I say them.

Trish- another preemie mom here. My DD acted very similar to Robbie and it turns out she had a milk allergy. the pedi and gi poo pooed it b/c she didn't have the traditional bloddy stool, but she got worse and worse so they finally tried a rx formula called elecare. she got better started eating and gaining within a week. she doesn't even take here prevacid, pepcid and mylanta anymore. I know robbie may have more issues, but the elecare was a miracle for us.

Praying for you. Definitely, definitely praying for you. My son went through something similar a couple of months ago; I think it was because he was teething. Oh, I hope he eats for you.
