Babies who are supposed to be 3 weeks old who do not fall asleep until 3 am are not allowed to be bright eyed and bushy tailed at 4:20 am.
I declare it.

AMEN sister!!! I agree. Of course babies who are 8 months old are suppose to go to bed before 1 am and sleep in their own beds but at times the children have other plans!
I hope you get some sleep today. I know I hope I do. It is going to be a long day!!!!!! :)
I can come and have a talk with Robbie if you think that would help. Maybe you can talk to the twins.
How in the world can they do it? I just don't understand!! I wish I had a 5th of their energy!!
Totally! Nice to know other people are going through it at the same time too.
Awww ... :)
(Though picturing a bright-eyed bushy-tailed Robbie makes me smile. :) Though it probably wouldn't if I had been up with him most of the night and really wanted him to SLEEP!)
My daughter used to pull this on me - and then she would go for a four-hour nap in the evening, so of course she wasn't tired when I wanted it to be bedtime... vicious cycle.
My ped told me to make sure she was out in the bright sun at noon so her circadian rhythms could be regulated. Not sure if that was what did the trick, but eventually she settled in to a semi-normal schedule.
Oh no. I'm tired just reading that. I'm glad that Robbie is so glad to be home, but give a Mommy a rest!
Amen- I'll tell that to my baby in my belly right this minute! No going to bed at 3 and getting up at 4:30 once you've arrived
